Mariam Wallentin & Andreas Werlin met and married in 2004 while at Gothenbrug’s Academy of Music and Drama in Sweden. With her powerful voice and his experimental percussion, the duo perform under the name Wildbirds & Peacedrums, and are known for experimental music which mixes elements of pop, jazz and everything in between.
My Heart is a song from their second album Snake. I invite you to watch the live performance of this song. I am literally blown away every time I watch this by the emotion and power Mariam puts into her performance. It’s obvious that she is deeply in love with her husband.
