This Wednesday I’ll be speaking on a panel about coming out and speaking out in DC. The event is sponsored by the DC Humanities Council, and will focus on being an active advocate for LGBT rights in the community.
I’m deeply honored that the Humanities Council asked me and my little ole’ blog to be on a panel with representatives from SMYAL DC and the Mayor’s LGBT Affairs office. Hopefully my stories on dating and relationships will go over well … I can hear the Carrie Bradshaw theme music playing now.
